Launched on 26 October 2026, **The Watch Keepers** offers a dedicated online platform for pre-owned AP watches, initially serving Switzerland and the European Union. While Rolex operates its CPO programme through participating retailers, Audemars Piguet has developed its own digital sales platform. Owners retain their watches’ ownership during the listing process, with AP handling authentication, photography and secure storage. Once a price is agreed, Audemars Piguet acquires the watch from the seller and becomes the buyer’s contractual counterparty. **How it works** Eligible watches must be more than two years past their original sale date. After registration and verification of ownership, each watch is sent to AP’s service facilities for authentication and assessment. The dial, case and bracelet are graded individually on a five-point scale. Listings include detailed photographs and a 360-degree view, while sellers can choose a fixed-price listing or a bidding window with a reserve price. A preparation service is included in the commission. If a full service or specific intervention is necessary to meet AP’s standards, this must be completed before listing, with the seller’s approval. These percentages apply progressively to the relevant portions of the selling price. Buying and selling require full identity verification. Existing Audemars Piguet customers can use their AP login. Watches cannot be viewed or tried on in person before purchase. However, buyers can arrange a private live video presentation with AP’s experts. Purchases can be returned within **14 days of receipt**, subject to the platform’s return conditions. During Yourasset’s initial launch-day review, the platform displayed 42 watches: 29 offered through bidding and 13 available for direct purchase. This opening selection will naturally change as watches are listed and sold. For collectors, The Watch Keepers offers direct manufacturer involvement in authentication, documentation and warranty support. The first completed bidding windows will be worth following, providing an early indication of how buyers and sellers respond to AP’s new service.
